2024 Summer Clinics

 

This summer, Avidity Volleyball Club will be running clinics for all ages and levels of volleyball players!  Our clinics are catered to individual athletes to strengthen their confidence and skills on the court.   Whether you are just beginning to learn the game or are an aspiring collegiate athlete, Avidity will help you reach the next level.  

Current Avidity players include who played for AVC this past 23-24 club season and/or participated in one or both of our Futures sessions.  

Avidity Summer Clinic - Grades 10-12 
For Girls entering grades 10-12 
Tuesdays - 7:00-9:00pm
Location:  St. John's Prep - Danvers, MA
 
June -11th, 18th, 25th
July - 2nd, 16th, 23rd, 30th
August - 6th
 
 
Each week, drill instruction will focus on high level training in passing, setting, attacking, serving, and defense.  Specific positional practice will enhance understanding of the game and encourage athletes to think more strategically about their involvement.  This clinic will involve a balance of individual instruction and game play.  
 
Cost:  $330 for current Avidity members, $350 for non-members
*current members include those players who played on a club team this past season or participated in Futures

Avidity Summer Clinic -  Grades 4-8 
Girls entering grades 4 - 8
Tuesdays:  5:00-7:00pm

June -11th, 18th, 25th
July - 2nd, 16th, 23rd, 30th
August - 6th
 
Location:  St. John's Prep - Danvers, MA
 
This summer clinic offers players the opportunity to learn about the game of volleyball and/or refine their skills. Whether just learning the game, or coming with a lot of experience, players will be placed at appropriate courts that will challenge them to develop.  A focus on passing, setting, attacking and serving techniques will be reinforced as well as putting everything together in nightly competitive games.   
 
Cost:  $275 for current Avidity members, $295 for non-members
*current members include those players who played on a club team this past season or participated in Futures

Avidity Summer Clinic - 9th Grade
For girls entering grade 9
Tuesdays - 5:00-7:00pm
Location:  St. John's Prep - Danvers, MA
 
June -11th, 18th, 25th
July - 2nd, 16th, 23rd, 30th
August - 6th
 
Our ninth grade clinic, specifically catered to preparing our players for their first year of high school volleyball and tryouts, will involve skill development and competitive play.  Whether just learning the game, or coming with a lot of experience, players will be placed at appropriate courts that will prepare them to compete during high school tryouts.  
 
Cost:  $330 for current Avidity members, $350 for non-members
*current members include those players who played on a club team this past season or participated in Futures
